How long should a title be?
Between 30 and 60 characters. Google cuts longer ones off, and a short one wastes room to say what the page offers.
Does it check the whole site?
No, one page at a time. The site audit in the app crawls whole sites and finds problems that only show across pages, such as duplicate titles and broken links.
Is this what Google sees?
It is the HTML the server sends, read by our own crawler. Google also runs JavaScript, so a page built by scripts can look thinner here than it does to Google.
Is it free?
